M.Sc. Fleet Operations Management
This PG Programme has been designed keeping in view the middle level and senior level personnel requirements of the marine and allied industries. The course ofers a blend of core marine engineering subjects at advanced level and management subjects which are essential for techno-commercial operations of an industry.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: Candidates possessing Master FG/MOT 1st Class (Motor Certificate of Competency).
- Candidates with UG Degree and possessing Mates / 2nd Class (Motor) certificates of competency.
- Candidates with Extra Master / Extra First Class certificates of competency. (Due credits will be given...for the subjects, if any, already covered).
- Candidates with appropriate certificates of competency (deck or engine) and who have also passed the...Membership examination of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London.
- Candidates with qualifications equivalent to the any one of the above.
Age: Maximum 25 years
Gender: Boys and Girls are eligible to apply.
Job Opportunity: Candidates with M.Sc. (MFOP) degree can expect to find suitable openings at middle and senior levels in Shipping Companies (as marine supdt., for example), Shipping Agencies, Ports, Marine Insurance Companies, Marine Survey Companies, Ship broking Companies, Oil Industry, Hospitality Industry and other allied firms as well as Educational Institutions.
